With our flat rate pricing model, there are no surprises. Whether you need a 1 foot cable or a 300 foot cable, the price per foot remains the same.
Manufacturing Process
Our cables are manufactured by hand and are terminated according to the T568b wiring standard This ensures attention to detail during the manufacturing process.
While the T568a ethernet standard is still available in limited applications, the vast majority of ethernet cables are wired according to the T568b wiring standard.
Boots are installed as an option at no charge.
Triple Tested
All our cables are tested for quality control, full functionality and speed. The first test ensures a proper termination. The second test ensures the ethernet cable is wired correctly. The third test ensures that the cable gets full speeds while hardwired to a 1 Gbps network connection. We typically look for speed test results of 900 Mbps or more using speedtest.net and fast.com.
These tests ensure that all our cables are operating at full capacity. If any of these tests fail, the cable is either re-wired or discarded.

Cat 5e vs Cat 6 Ethernet Cables
- Enhanced Category 5 (Cat 5e): Cat 5e cables are an enhanced version of the traditional Cat 5 cables, designed to support higher data rates and reduced crosstalk.
- Data Transmission: Capable of transmitting data at speeds up to 1,000 Mbps (1 Gbps) over 328 feet or 100 meters, making them suitable for most residential and small business networking needs.
- Twisted Pair Design: Like other Ethernet cables, Cat 5e cables utilize twisted pair design, which helps to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk between pairs.
- Compatibility: Backward compatible with Cat 5 cables and can be used with existing network infrastructure. They are also compatible with newer networking standards.
- Affordability: Cat 5e cables are relatively affordable compared to higher categories such as Cat 6 or Cat 6a, making them a popular choice for home and small office networks where Gigabit Ethernet speeds are sufficient.
- High Bandwidth: Cat 6 Ethernet cables are designed to support high-bandwidth applications, making them suitable for demanding networking tasks such as streaming high-definition video, online gaming, and data-intensive transfers.
- Faster Data Transmission: With enhanced specifications over Cat 5e cables, Cat 6 cables can transmit data at higher speeds of up to 10 Gigabits per second (Gbps) over 165 feet or 50 meters, ensuring rapid data transfer within a network.
- Reduced Interference: Cat 6 cables feature improved insulation and tighter twisting of wire pairs, resulting in reduced crosstalk and electromagnetic interference (EMI), which enhances signal quality and reliability, especially in environments with high levels of electrical noise.
- Backward Compatibility: Despite its advanced capabilities, Cat 6 cables are backward compatible with older networking standards like Cat 5 and Cat 5e, allowing them to be used in mixed-network environments without compatibility issues.
- Future-Proofing: Cat 6 cables provides a level of future-proofing for network infrastructure, as they offer sufficient bandwidth and performance capabilities to support emerging technologies and increasing data demands for years to come.
